Terms and Conditions

PAYMENT METHODS

There are 2 payment methods to secure the reservation.

1) Partial Payment of 50% of the reservation.

2) Full payment of the reservation to make it effective.

Payment with an international credit card has no surcharge. Payment via international transfer, Zelle or Western Union has a 3% discount. Payment through PayPal has a 12% surcharge.

The guarantee payment or full payment of your reservation must be made within 48 hours of creating the reservation.

The establishment may cancel the reservation for non-payment within the established term.

Once the payment is made, please send the receipt to reservas@blueaparts.net with the reservation number in reference.

Attention: Reservations do not include daily cleaning service. The daily cleaning service is optional and can be requested optionally with an additional payment at the time of check-in. The apartment is delivered with all linens and 1 set of towels and bath towels per person. Every 4 days, you can request a courtesy towel change from your host. Additional linen or towel changes beyond those provided will incur an extra cost.

CHANGES AND CANCELLATIONS

At BLUE APARTS, we understand that unforeseen situations may arise that are beyond the control of our guests. Our cancellation policy is Flexible but Non-Refundable.

Cancellation for Personal Reasons
Cancellation for Personal Reasons up to 14 days before check-in entitles the guest to modify the date of their reservation to a future date without penalty, subject to availability in the same apartment, and to the rates of the new reservation. In general, changing from one apartment to another is not allowed, except in a few cases.

Cancellation of the reservation for personal reasons less than 14 days before check-in does not entitle the guest to a change or refund, unless the modification is due to Force Majeure reasons.

Force Majeure
We have established a specific cancellation policy for force majeure events, which include, but are not limited to, natural disasters, pandemics, war conflicts, government restrictions, and other extraordinary circumstances.

Definition of Force Majeure
Force majeure is considered any event or circumstance that is beyond the reasonable control of the parties involved, that could not have been foreseen or avoided, and that prevents the fulfillment of contractual obligations. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Natural disasters or weather events (earthquakes, floods, hurricanes, airport and access road closures to our city due to weather conditions, etc.)
- Pandemics and epidemics
- War conflicts and acts of terrorism
- Government restrictions or quarantines
- Significant transportation interruptions (General Strike, etc.)

Common circumstances not covered by this policy:
- Events that affect a guest or their ability to travel, but not the location of the reservation
- Unexpected injuries or illnesses of the guest or direct family member
- Obligations imposed by authorities, such as receiving a jury duty summons or court appearances
- Non-binding travel alerts or other government guidelines that do not meet a travel ban or prohibition
- Cancellation or rescheduling of an event for which the reservation was made
- Transportation interruptions not related to a covered Event, such as airline insolvencies, flight rescheduling, road closures due to maintenance

Cancellation Procedure
1. Notification: The guest must notify BLUE APARTS as soon as possible about the need to cancel the reservation due to a force majeure event. The notification must include a detailed description of the event and any supporting documentation.

2. Evaluation: BLUE APARTS will evaluate the cancellation request and determine if the event qualifies as force majeure. We reserve the right to request additional information to support the request.

3. Cancellation Options:
- Full Refund: In no case will a full refund of the reservation be made. However, the situation will be analyzed and reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
- Rescheduling: The guest may choose to reschedule their stay to a future date without incurring additional charges, for the same apartment originally reserved. The new date will be subject to availability and the rates in effect at the time of rescheduling. The amount originally paid will be maintained in USD for the future reservation. No refunds will be made for rate differences in favor of the guest.

Exclusions
This policy will not apply in the following cases:
- Cancellations requested for personal reasons not related to force majeure events.
- Events that do not reasonably prevent the fulfillment of the reservation.
